DISCOVERING “ETNA” THE EUROPEAN HIGHEST VOLCANO
A few kilometers from the beautiful city of Catania in Sicily, stands the highest volcano in Europe, still active today.
Have you ever seen Sicily from an altitude of 3328 meters? An experience to live and fully enjoy while walking on the edge of the highest volcano in Europe. Etna Cratere Centrale, involves the ascent to the summit craters of the volcano. We will reach 2900 meters of height comfortably seated and then face a challenging trek on lava deserts that will take us to the edge of the central crater to admire all the grandeur of the volcano. This tour includes the use of cable car, Jeep and volcanological/alpine guide included in the participation fee.

RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT: Jacket, hat, hiking shoes, gloves, bandana and water.
If required, it will be possible to rent trekking shoes.
The use of hiking shoes is mandatory for this type of excursion.
